Item Description

Do you want to paint, write a book, do photography, compose a song, design jewelry or maybe create a cookbook?  Do you want your creative dreams to be fulfilled? Or perhaps you wrote your book, but got stuck on the way or rejected by a publisher?

You are about to take a new step in your creative life and do not know how to proceed. Why are you resisting going forward? How can you get connected to the process of creating?

I am here to help and support.  Sometimes you already know the answer how to fulfill yourself and your dreams, but you just need someone to listen to you or help you affirm yourself.  As a Creativity Coach, I create a platform where I help you figure out how you can to use your creative talent, develop an action plan, stay focused and eliminate distractions. I offer tools and an approach so you can let go of your resistance or difficulties in committing to a project.

I offer a package where we either meet in-person or by phone for one hour twice a month. In the meantime, we communicate twice a week via email, where I answer any questions.

Do not let your creative aspirations go. They create meaning in your life. Ask yourself: If not now, when?

Send me an email at kirsi6@cox.net or call at my cell 310.907.6423, and we can connect and start working to fulfill your dreams.

BIO:

My background has long focused on writing and journalism. For over 20 years, both in the United States and Europe, I have written for newspapers and magazines, published a non-fiction book and produced dozens of short stories and a novel.

Beyond the process of crafting stories, writing depends on continuously creating ideas that can lead to articles, books and more. My intrinsic joy in this creative process, combined with my passion for helping others to realize their creative potential, has led me to become a Creative Coach. I have been taught by America’s leading Creativity Coach, psychologist Dr. Eric Maisel, who has guided hundreds of accomplished, well-known artists and others who are beginning to make meaning through their art.

As my career and life has unfolded, I have recognized the value that outside help can provide. This was true when I was acting in student plays, studying theater and drama, or pursuing my gift for writing. I have learned to ask for advice, put my creative work high on the task list and aim to live life fully. Some call it authentic life; some describe it as being true to yourself.

Drawing on the insights gained from working with Dr. Maisel and various clients, I will help you put your dreams into action and sustain them. I use creativity tools to get you over writer’s block, start painting, compose your song, overcome stage fright, or whatever might be limiting you from achieving your potential and pursuing your dreams. I work with people are full-time artists and others who want to engage in particular artistic projects.

HOW IS CREATIVITY COACHING DONE?

Based on an initial free 20-minute consultation, we create a meeting schedule based on our mutual understanding of your need for coaching. I create a personal action plan that includes self-assessment tools, an accountability check-list, and techniques for self-guidance and self-support.

During weekly sessions via phone, Skype or face-to-face, plus several email exchanges in between, we assess your history, your current challenges and your goals as an artist.
