The art pieces are of calligraphy, which he learned when he was 14 years old at Sengdruk Taktse School, Amdo, Tibet. He has since then studied different styles of Tibetan monastic and lay calligraphy. He has won several awards for his calligraphy from his school and prefecture. Through his art he wants to share the beauty of Tibetan culture and knowledge. The proceeds from his art go to support his education in the states and to benefit Sengdruk Taktse School.
