Item Description
This truly stunning Mayan table runner was manufactured by the indigenous peoples of the Mexico. Women have traditionally created textiles in Mayan society, and textiles were a significant form of ancient Mayan art and religious beliefs. The Mayan people are well-known for the beauty, quality, and sophistication of their textiles. This reputation persists because of, not in spite of, the rather simple tools used by Mayan men and women to produce these textiles. Approximate measurements: 95" x 17" with a 2" fringe
