Stephen Phillips has practiced architecture in California for over 20 years. He founded Stephen Phillips Architects (SPARCHS) after working for renowned lead California architects Charles Moore (MRY), William Turnbull (WTA/TGH) and Cathy Simon (SMWM) on many award winning high-end residential, cultural, and institutional building types. Stephen Phillips is a Yale/Penn/Princeton graduate with both a professional degree in architecture and a Ph.D. in modern and contemporary architecture history. He is a devoted Franklin School parent, with completed residential, educational, winery, and restaurant designs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and New York City. Stephen recognizes the value of contemporary and modern building practices tempered with the pragmatics of local building codes alongside fiscally responsible decision-making processes; his goal is to ensure for his clients top-quality value-added results. http://www.sparchs.net
