Garnish is a small intimate boutique located in Northeast Portland in the Alberta Arts District.  The jewelry, accessories, and nearly all of the clothing is designed in-house and made in Portland.  Garnish is a boutique that can fit the majority of women's needs, whether you need an everyday skirt or a dress for a special event.  Our styles are simultaneously classic and contemporary with a focus on beautiful fabric and flattering fit.  Our pieces will fit sizes 0-18 and we can alter pieces to better fit you.

The Night of the Party - On the evening of the party we close the shop and put a curtain across the windows and door, as well as a sign saying "Closed for a Private Party".  It feels a bit like you've snuck into someone's fabulous closet and it's time to play dress up!

As you and your guests enjoy wine, non-alcoholic drinks, hors d'ouerves and sweets we will secretly pull outfits for you and each of your guests that we think will look great.  Next, owner and designer, Erica Lurie, will give a brief history of her design experience and the shop and then let you loose to try the pieces we have suggested or any others that have caught your eyes.  We will gladly explain why we choose certain pieces for each person, nothing short of a personal design consultation.  This is what we love to do, so please feel free to take full advantage of this opportunity.  We can also fit garments and get them prepped for in-house alterations so your garments will fit you perfectly.

Private shopping parties are a great experience as they allow you the opportunity to have the designer create a look that is unique for you.  You also have your friends there to support you, offer honest advice, and help you push your fashion boundaries.  We, at Garnish, always look forward to parties as they are a fun opportunity to meet people and introduce them to our concept.  Part of creating a welcoming environment means that we never pressure anyone to buy, we only hope that our guests enjoy their evening and perhaps think of us in the future.

Item Special Note

The Logistics - No booking fee.  Wine, non-alcoholic drinks, hors d'hourves, and design consultation are all provided.  If you have at least 8 guest attend the party we'll give you a bonus gift of $100 store credit. 

Time and date - parties run from 6-9pm and are available Mon-Wed.

Your guests - we request that you have 10-15 guests to the party.  This creates the ideal atmosphere.
