Have your budding scientist (age 5 -13) spend a week aboard the USS Intrepid at Camp Intrepid: one of the most unique camping experiences in the city.

This is a totally one-of-a-kind camp experience where your kids spends a week on an aircraft carrier without being enlisted!  Your child will explore, discover and learn about aviation, astronomy, life at sea, marine creatures, and more during Intrepid’s full-day, drop-off summer camp.

This engaging enrichment program gives campers the opportunity to create and experiment while cooking with solar ovens, launching bottle rockets and exploring the underwater world using microscopes.

Lots of outdoor activities are included too. "Boot Camp" includes tug-of-war, relay races, and obstacle courses held on the peer and flight deck. Campers experience the wonders of the Museum, its exhibits, and the Exploreum while incorporating projects and activities related to the week's theme.
