Item Description
Chosen by Zagat as one of the “Top 12 Hottest New Restaurants in LA”, Trattoria Neapolis is a new 150 seat modern American Italian restaurant featuring the award winning chef, Bryant Wigger , formerly of the Four Seasons Los Angeles. The restaurant is located in a beautiful building in Pasadena and was designed by Hatch Design Group, one of LA’s premier designers. The kitchen features a 7,000 pound wood burning oven for Neapolitan-style pizzas and a custom wood burning grill. All pasta, bread, and salumi are made in-house.
Among the main courses are veal scaloppini with lemon butter, gnocchi with smoked pork shoulder, seared octopus atop a smoky potato torta, and a pan-roasted market fresh fish. Topics for pizza range from house-made lamb sausage to mascarpone. For dessert, you can’t pass up the non-traditional tiramisu featuring peaches, pecans and caramel.
The wine list features wines from Italy and California, 24 wines by the glass, and is served by their own in-house sommelier. The beer list focuses on artisanal brewers in LA County and Italy and was created by Christina Perozzi, who LA Magazine called LA’s top beer sommelier. Trattoria Neapolis also serves classic and creative cocktails created by Vincenzo Marianella, recently nominated for American Bartender of the Year.
