Item Description
GHS Campers hit the streets and see the best New York City has to offer. Where else can your camper: get up close and personal with the Space Shuttle; get hands on with atoms at the New York Hall of Science; see where the great's played ball (Take me out to the ballpark teach!); find out who really is buried in Grant's tomb; experience the grandur of Temple of Dendur at the MET, see the sights and the Cyclone--one of the country's oldest roller coasters--at Coney Island, gaze upon the astronomical ceiling of Grand Central, walk a cosmic pathway... maybe even ponder the amount of dirt needed to make the New York Earth Room.
But if you want my advise kid... make 'em take you to Carnegie Deli first!
Campers gain first hand experience with the greatest NYC monuments of all time: the subway! They travel by MTA or private coach depending on destination. Excursions occur Tues – Thurs and may end later than regular camp hours (at no additional fee).

Greene Hill School Excursion Camp is for ages 7-11 and is open to kids from any school.
Greene Hill Excursion Camp 2014 runs in five, week-long sessions from June 30-August 1.
