Item Description
Chef Mike Price and partner, Joey Campanaro, opened Market Table in the fall of 2007. Located at the corner of Carmine and Bedford Streets in the West Village, the restaurant boasts an airy dining room with exposed brick walls and large windows offering a view onto village life. The menu at Market Table is seasonal american, influenced by Mike's childhood on the family farm in Maryland coupled with years working beside great chefs. He offers nightly specials that reflect his love of creating simple dishes with big flavors.
Mike's vision connects dining room and kitchen. He is able to make eye contact with guests and flash that approachable smile, making his guests feel comfortable and right at home. Mike works directly with the General Manager, Valerie Meehan, who oversees the evolving wine list. From the host to the server to the busboy, the staff at Market Table is dedicated to hospitality in the truest sense and strives to please every guest.
Tucked away through the kitchen and beneath the main dining room is Market Table's private dining room. The private room is thoughtfully decorated with both new and old. There is a collection of modern art pieces along with relics from the 1930s. The exposed brick walls and vaulted ceiling are lit warmly by candlelight. The private dining room accommodates up to 24 guests and is available for lunch and dinner, corporate and social events.
Lunch is served Monday-Friday, brunch on weekends, and dinner nightly. To learn more about Market Table's menus, click here.
