Private Freestyle lesson with Coach Wes Preston (Freestyle/Freeskiing Youth Program Director) at the WV Ski Area.  A 4 hour lesson for you and your friends or family (4 people max) with debriefing over snacks and drinks at T Bars.  Valid at a mutually agreed upon time.

May 17, 2013 – Park City, UT - At the annual U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) Congress held in Park City on May 17thWes Preston, WVBBTS Freestyle Development Program Director, was one of five recipients of a USSA Gold Award.  An incredible honor, Wes proudly received this USSA Development Coach of the Year Award and in addition was presented with the award for USSA Freestyle Domestic Coach of the Year!

Having been involved in freestyle skiing his entire life, Wes competed as a young athlete in moguls, aerials, and ballet.  Upon retiring from competitive skiing, Wes coached for FLY Freestyle, Freestyle America, and the Lake Placid Olympic Jumping Complex Aerial Program, before taking a full-time position with WVBBTS in 2010.

Wes is currently the Program Director and Head Coach of the WVBBTS Development Program for athletes age 8 - 14. The trampoline programs and technical ski progressions designed by Wes have produced a dominant WVBBTS Freestyle Team, accumulating overall and age-class podiums during the 2012-2013 ski season. In 2012 and again in 2013 the WVBBTS “B” team won the coveted 1st place team award at the East Coast Junior Freestyle Championships.

Wes’s professionalism and in-depth knowledge of freestyle skiing and acrobatics has been of tremendous benefit to the WVBBTS athletes.
