Item Description
Our seventh graders dove deep into their imaginations to create the whimsical images of sea life that adorn these stunning fused party trays! Inspired by the world’s beautiful coral reefs, each child designed a fish, sea plant, or sea animal using small pieces of glass that were placed and glued onto clear sheets of glass. These sheets were then taken to Stained Glass of Marin in Downtown Novato where they were fired to full fuse and slumped into the forms of trays. The two trays measure 12” X 17” and 7½“ X 15”. On a stand, they will delight you for years to come, bringing color and light into your home. Besides being beautiful pieces of art, they can be functional trays perfect for use at summer barbeques, pool parties, luaus, or any happy occasion. Special thanks to Mary Page of Stained Glass of Marin for her expertise and guidance throughout the making of this project.
