Item Description
Action artistically captured in wire--#81 Anquan Boldin of the Baltimore Ravens in mid-air catch, while #43 Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers defends. This is sculpture in wire created using Lonnie Q. Ingram's own style, "Lonnetrix." The artist used 28-gauge galvanized steel wire to recreate form by combining everyday shapes and guiding lines. Mr. Ingram uses a series of connections, bundles, and wraps to create the design, beauty, and strength that is "Lonnetrix." This is a five-year piece. You will notice a new detail even five years later.This piece, created in 2010, is mounted on a stained wooden base, and stands 12" X 10" X 12".
