Item Description
Bike Tour of the Albert Lasker Estate in Lake Forest
The Lake Forest estate of advertising magnate Albert Lasker was the epitome of the country retreat with a manor house, grand gardens, a gentleman farm and a private 18-hole golf course. This one-of-a-kind bike tour will share the history of this estate called Mill Road Farm. While the 240 acre estate has been subdivided, 13 original buildings survive and have been turned into unique private homes. Included on the tour will be views of the manor house, golf club house, movie theater and farm buildings.
The tour covers about 4 miles and lasts 90 minutes. Bike helmets are mandatory. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
