Item Description
A highly collectible "outsider artist," Gary Baseman has exhibited around the world and in his native LA, most recently having a solo show ("The Door Is Always Open") at the Skirball Cultural Center. His creations span the three-time Emmy-winning animated series "Teacher's Pet," a cover of "The New Yorker," Japanese soda cans, the "Cranium" line of games and numerous live art happenings. The Los Angeles Times calls Baseman's art "adorably perverse."
