Item Description
Immerse yourself in the Paris that inspired Ernest Hemingway’s, “A Moveable Feast,” the memoir of the time he spent living on the Left Bank in the 1920’s. Rue Notre-Dame des Champs, Boulevard du Montparnasse, Café de la Rotonde, Le Dome, Le Select, La Coupole, le Jardin du Luxembourg — all places as vibrant today as they were when Hemingway was experiencing them. And not only Hemingway. Stroll the same sidewalks that saw the comings and goings of Stein and Matisse and Satie. Gaze in the same windows that caught the eyes of Picasso, Dali, and Man Ray. Sip espresso at a table where perhaps the seed that became “The Great Gatsby” first germinated in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s mind. It’s the same absolutely alive environment that animated some of the greatest artistic minds of the 20th Century and you'll be in the center of it, enjoying one week in a fantastic 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in the 6th arrondissement on the Left Bank. If reenacting Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris” isn’t your cup of tea, no worries — the apartment is only few minutes walk from a galaxy of wonderful shops, parks, playgrounds, cafes and other attractions, great for adults and children alike. The days won’t be long enough to do and see all the things that beckon just a few steps from your door.
