The value of the Adult & Child Workshop is $80.  The Sushi Workshop is $100, and the difference would have to be paid directly to Create a Cook when using this certificate if you'd like to do Sushi.  See our calendar for up-to-date options or call us! 

Adult and Child Workshops 

Usually offered on the weekend or on Tuesday nights, we try and make it so that the child and adult partner have a wonderful time bonding over the joys of food preparation. Often offered themes for Adult and Child Workshops are: I Love Chocolate, Sushi, Pasta Dinner from Scratch, 1, 2, 3, Bake, Everyday Italian, C is for Cookie, Crazy Cupcakes, specific holiday themes, and more. 

Additionally, during school vacation weeks we will offer special "party" workshops for the kids and parents or caregiver looking for something really fun to do. Princess and Pirate Tea Party participants are welcome to dress up and indulge. 

Children should be about age 5 for these workshops, and can be up to the tween years. A caregiver or grandparent can be the adult in the pair... as long as they are over age 18. Two children can come with one adult, with a discounted rate for the second seat in the class. Call us for information on how to sign up with multi-kiddies. 

To find the right Adult and Child workshop for you and your favorite child, visit our calendar and type "Adult" in the search box, all of the A&C workshops scheduled will return. Adult and Child workshops are $80 for the adult and child "team," and are two hours in duration. 

Knife Skills for Teens and Adults 

Our knife skills workshop is for both teens (recommended ages 12 and up) and adults. 

This essential skills workshop teaches participants how to properly hold and use a knife, how to cut food in several different ways from julienne to rough chop. Participants will leave with something they have created themselves from their choppings: perhaps a soup, stuffed apples, salsa, or something else seasonally delightful. 

This is a 2 hour workshop and is $50. Enter "Knife" in the search  box on our calendar page to find the next Knife Skills class offered. 

Custom Workshops 

We are always happy to design a custom 2 hour workshop for your small group (private parents/children; Scout Troop, Homeschool Group, Mother's Group, you name it). We will happily work with you to choose the best option from our existing menus, and put develop a great, fun time in the kitchen. 

Custom Workshops are $350 for up to 6 guests. For each additional guest, up to a maximum total of 8, a fee of $50 per person will be added.  Prices of our workshops include all food costs, aprons used during class, and you never need to clean the kitchen when you are done.

We also do custom workshops and parties for just grown-ups, without the kids. Visit our Adult Cooking page for more information on options sans kiddies.

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
