"Your veggies and landscaping will love this premium quality, organic soil amentment!"

Sonoma Compost (Organic)

Provides valuable organic matter to soil, making it easier to work and more productive. In sandy soil it increases moisture-holding capacity, making soil nutrients more available to plants. In heavy clay soils, porosity is increased which improves aeration in the root zone and overall drainage.

Sonoma Compost provides a wealth of slow release nutrients and beneficial microbes to your soil and plants. It's screened to approximately <1/2".

Terra Lite (Organic)

In response to requests for a compost that improves the workability of clay soils with plants that thrive in low nitrogen environments we have created Terra Lite.

We’re blending our Brown Rice with our Sonoma Compost. This compost is ideal for trees, shrubs, natives and grapes.

This high quality soil amendment provides all the soil conditioning benefits of mature compost and has a neat, uniform appearance. It's the perfect material for making heavy clay soils easier to work and sustain slow, steady growth. Terra Lite is light and easy to work into the soil of your garden or landscape. It’s screened to approximately <½”.

About Sonoma Compost:

Sonoma Compost Co. is proud to present one of the most diverse product lines in the industry. Each product is designed to meet the needs of agrarians, landscapers and the backyard gardener.

To help you grow healthy, vigorous plants we desiged our composts to address various growing conditions. We find well drained sandy soils in Sonoma County as well as poorly drained clay soils. Vegetables and roses are heavy feeders and like nitrogen. Natives, trees, shrubs and grapes on the other hand get better structure and perform better with a low nitrogen compost. Our knowledgeable staff is happy to assist you in deciding which product best suits your needs.
