The winning bidder of this unique experience will enjoy a guided pheasant hunt for two people at the Hastings Island Hunting Preserve in Rio Vista, CA. This is a perfect opportunity to spend a wonderful day with your child, spouse, or good friend hunting on a private 4,700 acre game preserve in the Delta, only 1-1/2 hours from San Francisco. 

Your day will begin with a visit with the Club's manager for breakfast and an orientation regarding the hunt and the Club's facilities. You will be introduced to your guide/dog handler who will accompany you on the hunt. Your party will have the opportunity to shoot up to a total of eight pheasants. The hunt itself will be approximately four hours. After your hunt, lunch will be provided and you will have an opportunity to shoot two rounds of trap on our shooting range. The birds you shot will be cleaned and packed into ice by our staff, ready for you to transport to your home. 

Item Special Note

The hunt may be booked during the period of October 1 and December 12, 2014. This Gift Certificate specifically includes: 4 hour guided hunt for 2 people, where you and your hunting party may take up to a total of 8 pheasants (additional pheasants may be purchased); bird cleaning for up to a total of 8 pheasants; breakfast and lunch for two people; use of a rental dog with dog handler for your hunt; two rounds of trap on the Club's shooting range; and two blaze orange Hastings Island Hunting Preserve hats.

Restrictions on this Gift Certificate include: all hunters must posess a valid State of California Hunting License with Upland Game Bird Stamp (this is not sold at the Club). Hunters must provide their own guns and ammunition. Only shotgun gauges 12 and 20 are permitted, using non-steel shot sized either No. 6 or 7-1/2. The Club does not permit the consumption of alcohol on its premises.

The Gift Certificate is not redeemable for a cash reimbursement. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance if the recipient is NOT a Hastings Island Club Member. Violation of the Club's Rules and Regulations and/or the display of unsafe behavior while on Club premises will immediately void this Gift Certificate.
