Ruby Tuesday Hawaii opened its 6th restaurant at Kapolei Commons last fall. The soon-to-be flagship location features 4,400 square feet of indoor dining with a 1,000 square foot outdoor dining area. "We are very happy to be opening our restaurant in the `second city` of Kapolei," said Ruby Tuesday Hawaii co-owner Rick Nakashima, "We feel this will be a very successful location for us."
Ruby Tuesday Hawaii is locally owned and operated by Nakashima and Ted Davenport. They have steadily grown the franchise since opening their first location in Mililani in February of 2004.
"Our ownership team is proud to be the employer of more than 525 workers on Oahu and Maui," said Nakashima, "We take great pride in helping keep our local economy strong and giving opportunities for people to stay employed during these tougher times."
Ruby Tuesday Hawaii also owns and operates locations in Ala Moana, Windward Mall, Mililani, Moanalua Center, and Kihei, Maui.
