A Lab junior or senior will have the opportunity to shadow Joe Valerio, founding partner of Valerio Dewalt Train Associates and his team for two days of discovery. The student will get firsthand insight into VDTA’s current projects, learn about the architectural process from the one of the best in the industry, and even get a hands-on site tour of a project in progress. Valerio Dewalt Train Associates is a national award-winning architectural and design practice and was the architect for University of Chicago Laboratory Schools’ Earl Shapiro Hall among other highly acclaimed projects.
