Item Description
Jim Elyea has been in business for 30 years with his History for Hire warehouse that holds nearly a million items. This prop house supplies Hollywood with everything from WWI uniforms to 19th century eyewear and skeletons.
Elyeas says that he has about a million items in his History for Hire Collection. This was Mr. Mayagi's prop in the original Karate Kid.
On a good week, History for Hire will send out about 1,500 individual props
Phones stored at the History for Hire warehouse, which is carefully organized by categories
Elyea uses a barcode system for all props, such as these vintage cameras at the History for Hire warehouse.
