A unique 1.5 hour Museum Adventures, hands-on art-making tour for children ages 4 and up.  Includes all materials for multiple projects and a gift bag.  For up to four children and attending adults.  Location of tour: The Met's Modern, Impressionism, or 19th Century European Galleries.

Claire is a professional artist and a dynamic art and music teacher. She has lead teacher trainings throughout the city and is a consultant for large scale children’s events. Recently, she has added to her program, museum tours throughout the New York City area, combining myriad opportunities for learning, storytelling and fun with hands-on art at NYC museums and galleries.  Claire’s excellent reputation is based on her passion for children, her unique creative teaching style and her strong belief in multi-intelligence learning.  Her arts-based program has been shared with many schools throughout the Manhattan area, including the Sunshine Kids Club , the United Nations School, 92nd street Y.  She has provided art consultation for the Children’s Museum, NYC-Parents in Action and the American Friends of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art for hundreds of children at Family Art Day.Come join her in this year’s Art, Music, Museum and Party Adventures!

Art Adventure - Children are introduced to modern and contemporary artists and diverse cultures using a wide variety of mediums and techniques including: paint, clay, wood, sand, foam, paper-mache, wire, cloth, photography, animation and more. Myriad museums and galleries of NYC provide us with ample ideas from which to create, keeping our curriculum current with the art world of today. Parents are invited to join us on a trip to a NYC museum or gallery each semester. Older children will have a longer class time, visit museums more frequently, will be introduced to more advanced techniques and art vocabulary in Art Adventures Studio.

Museum Tour - Come with your child to NYC museums and galleries! The Met, MoMA, Guggenheim, Whitney, UES, Chelsea galleries and more… children (and adults!) can experience the excitement the vast visual art scene New York City has to offer! Let Claire help you to discover artists and demystify art processes while including hands-on projects and unique materials!  Both parent and child are introduced to modern and contemporary artists, diverse cultures, a wide variety of mediums and techniques including: paint, clay, wood, wire, cloth, metal, sculpture, photography, animation and installations.
