The Tree of Live Quilt
Tree of Life is ecologically inspired, combining recycling, the pink clouds of love and forgiveness, the rainbow of possibilities and the commitment of heart (at the top with doves) with an embroidered tree of life at the foundation for healing. Above the tree of life are 8 pearl beads between the quilted hearts. The blue hues of the rainbow on the edges give it an ethereal quality, grounded again by the sage backing (organic cotton sheet from Gaiam) which wraps around to form the edging. It is a nice size at 54" wide by 63" ling and has a flexible feel with one layer of 1/4" organic cotton batting. One of a kind, signed YaYa 07, priced at $650.00
The quilts are inspired spiritually, from the center out, letting the quilt create itself.
They are made of organic materials on backs and edges, with organic cotton batting, with designs that are GREEN - that is made from recycled materials and remnants.
Each quilt is hand-quilted with unique creative patterns, and then signed and dated with embroidery thread.
Some quilts have embroidered designs and beads sewn into the pattern, and there is a heart somewhere on every quilt, sometimes in the quilting.
The quilts were made to be fun for the special kids being born today.
Linda is a planetary light worker, doing her work in the every day, expressing some of her energies through the quilts, like a prayer, to support the ascension of planet earth.
