You are bidding on 3-750 ml bottles of La Follette 2012 Pinot Noir North Coast, and 3-750 ml bottles of La Follette 2011 Chardonnay North Coast.

About the Pinot:

The North Coast Pinot Noir offers a symphony of red fruits in the glass, joined by earthy forest floor elements and notes of rose petal, rosemary and sage. A bright entry of red cherry transitions midpalate to charcuterie and cranberry, offering a lovely acid/tannin balance. The late palate displays intriguing notes of quince and lavender, wrapped in a long, spicy finish. Overall, a multi-layered and palate-pleasing rendition of coastal Pinot Noir.

About the Chardonnay:

Intensely perfumed with honeysuckle, fresh pineapple and melon, this effusive Chardonnay unfurls in the glass to reveal underlying tones of pine needles and vanillin … with just a touch of muskiness. The focused mineral-laced entry leads to mouthwatering acid and fresh citrus flavors on the palate. This wine finishes long, with lime peel and an echo of tropical fruits. Both elegant and energetic, our North Coast Chardonnay is decidedly coastal in structure.

Item Special Note

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense.

For planning, note that the pick up days are Friday, March 28, 2014 and Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Sebastopol, California. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.

Wine is shipped via AIM Mail Center. Here are the special notes in regards to shipping wine:

1. Actual shipping charges will be charged and mailing/shipping insurance is extra. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees. Estimated shipping for a single bottle of wine is between $26-76. Alaska is $236 and Hawaii is $136.

2. All wine requires a wine shipper in addition to any shipping and/or insurance charges. The prices for a 6 bottle shipper is $10.75.

3. Wine is shipped “adult signature required” and the delivery must be signed for, it cannot be left without a signature. There is an additional $4.95 charge for this, and it cannot be waived.

4. Wine can be shipped to the following 30 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. If a state is not listed, state law prohibits wine from being shipped there.
