Item Description
Winnie Walker from Madame Alexander is a 24” tall “walking” doll produced from 1953-1954. She has the sweet “Cissy” face with sleep eyes that open and close freely. Her dress, slip and panties are all original, although the fabric of her slip is very fragile. Her wig was replaced sometime circa 1960, so is not original. Neither are her shoes or socks. Her “walking mechanism” is loose, so she no longer really walks and turns her head as she did when she was new. She is, however, in excellent “played-with” condition and comes from a non-smoking home.
In mint condition, such Winnie Walker dolls can bring upwards of $350. This particular Winnie Walker doll is not in mint condition, so is worth less, but she is an absolutely lovely doll with no cracks and shows very well.
