One-of-a-kind ceramic Ghost Bird Character from the artist’s illustrated novel.

Included in this art package is an autographed copy of the artist’s first Artbook, “RODIG Artbook One”
Gwendolyn R. Rodig is a Chicago area artist. She studied photography at Columbia College in Chicago and film production at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She received her Associates of Art Degree from William Rainey Harper College in Illinois and earned her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from Northern Illinois University with an emphasis in painting. Gwendolyn creates artworks through painting, printmaking, digital images, bronze casting and ceramics sculpture. She is working on an illustrated novel, “The Ensuing”, which influences much of her current artwork. She is developing a series of digital artworks related to that storyline. Gwendolyn is an artist and author telling a story of birds and the adventures they pursue. She is currently working on a narrative in which her main characters are ghost birds. Gwendolyn’s artwork develops out of a need to create her characters through various media such as painting, printmaking, digital images, ceramic and bronze casting,
“I find that my artwork can often tell me more about my characters when my words fall short.”
Gwendolyn is constantly striving to create the images that evolve in her imagination. It is a continuous evolution of idealization and change.
