Item Description
Northern Stage's Development Director Amanda Rafuse is also a certified yoga instructor! Amanda is offering a series of five 90 minute yoga sessions. A perfect opportunity to learn a new style of yoga, workshop poses you have always wanted to try, or practice yoga for the first time in a safe, private environment!
Take these sessions for yourself, or throw a yoga party for up to 8 of your friends!
Amanda will tailor each practice to suit your needs. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a long-time yogini, you can choose from a variety of styles including beautifully flowing Vinyasa, gentle Hatha Yoga, calming and still Yin Yoga, or the ultimate relaxation of Restorative Yoga.
Whatever you decide, Amanda will incorporate breath-work (pranayama), poses (asana) and deep relaxation (nidra) to cultivate awareness of the whole self, with special attention paid to correct alignment and helping you develop your practice in a safe, effective way. Storytelling, laughter, and a whole lot of fun comes with each class!
