About the farm:

Tara Firma Farms is a sustainable, farm producing food that connects the community to each other.  In 2009, we set off on a mission to create a source of food produced with the highest integrity and to allow the people who consume our food full access to our farm. From the inception we have offered FREE weekend tours, providing education to the public. This allows the community to learn where their food comes from, how they can be accountable in the process, choosing between conventional, organic or local and knowing all the differences to make educated decisions. By including our customers, it keeps us accountable to produce the highest quality food in the most sustainable and ecologically sound way. Over 8000 adults and children have visited.  Inspired by the genius of Joel Salatin, owner of Polyface Farms, we were able to bring this vision and our community together to experience healthy food and the life cycles that support each other and our planet.

Note: Contact farm to schedule visit-30 calendar day notice, and based on calendar availability.

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, certificate will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense. Certificate will be mailed with insurance via USPS first class mail. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.

For planning, note that the pick up days are Friday, March 28, 2014 and Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Sebastopol, California. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
