Item Description

You are bidding on one of eight seats for a Magic: The Gathering draft tournament for children (14 and under only, please), to be played at a private home in Santa Rosa on Saturday, April 5, beginning at 2 p.m. The draft tournament will consist of selection from three rounds of booster packs from the latest expansion set, Born of the Gods. All players will play three rounds. Players will keep the decks they build, including (unlike in tournaments played at gaming stores) the basic lands that you'll add to complete the deck. Thus, everyone will leave with a playable deck. In addition, prizes will be awarded to everyone who wins at least one round (yes, even fifth through seventh place will receive a booster pack) -- and, of course, the overall winner will also receive bragging rights! In addition, we'll serve snacks, pizza (gluten free upon request) and drinks. Newcomers to Magic: The Gathering are welcome, as experienced players who are not in the tournament will be available to offer advise and act as judges. Item Special Note

In the unlikely event that the tournament cannot be held on April 5, each auction winner will be offered the choice of a make-up date or a full refund.

Auction winners will be notified of the location of the tournament at the time of prize pick-ups (Friday, March 28, 2014 and Saturday, March 29, 2014). It is the responsibility of the winner to find transportation to and from the event.

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, certificate will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense. Certificate will be mailed with insurance via USPS first class mail. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.

For planning, note that the pick up days are Friday, March 28, 2014 and Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Sebastopol, California. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
