Item Description
Leras Family Farm is offering a six month supply of our fresh unprocessed whole milk. The winner will receive a half gallon of milk every week delivered to our convenient Willowside Meat Friday pickup or clients can pickup on Mondays at our farm. This is a $300 value and we normally have a waiting list to join our farm.
Our herd is an all heritage breed, organic Jersey, A/2 tested and on pasture year around. We bottle in glass and use no chemicals or chlorine on our farm.
Our cows are fed a minimal amount of organic grain mixed with Redmond's mineral salts, kelp meal, flax seeds, diatomaceous earth, and organic apple cider vinegar. Our girls are fed organic dairy quality alfalfa and lots of green grass.
Farmshare owners are responsible for weekly return of clean and ready to fill jars.
Owners are always invited to visit the farm and we hope they take part in farm work days and social functions. Our farm's mission is to build community and connect the public to their local food producers.
Item Special Note
Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, certificate will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense. Certificate will be mailed with insurance via USPS first class mail. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.
For planning, note that the pick up days are Friday, March 28, 2014 and Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Sebastopol, California. All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
