Item Description
Any lover of contemporary art will enjoy this package of four St. Petersburg Arts Experience tickets!
These combination tickets include admission to the Chihuly Collection on Beach Drive as well as the Morean Arts Center Glass Studio & Hot Shop on Central Avenue.
The Chihuly Collection is a stunning, permanent collection of world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly’s unique artwork in a magnificent 10,000 square foot setting designed by award-winning architect Albert Alfonso. The Collection includes Chihuly’s spectacular large-scale installations such as Ruby Red Icicle Chandelier, created specifically for the Collection, along with several popular series works including Macchia, Ikebana, Niijima Floats, Persians and Tumbleweeds which have thrilled audiences around the globe. Each space has been designed individually to complement each installation producing unique visual experiences.
A visit to the Glass Studio & Hot Shop is an opportunity to get behind the scenes and observe resident glass artists creating unique works of art. Watch a glass artist creates a one-of-a-kind piece of art glass. From gathering the molten glass from the furnace, to working it on the pontil pipe and glory hole, to its final cool down process in the annealing kiln, you will have a new appreciation for this art form that is centuries old.
