Item Description
Okay A LOT of buzz has been going on about this item when it was in the room waiting to be added to the auction!! Let's continue the ferver...
This is a Fender Squier Stratocaster, black
Electric guitar with gig bag, Fender strap, and 10 feet Fender cord, and Fender pick (all near-new!).
*The photo may show some markings on the black bag. This is just a little dust. The bag is in excellent condition, we just accidentally put it on a dusty shelf.
UPDATED 3/19/2014 AT 1:55 PM: Donor states: "I know it is not an Affinity, and not a Bullet. I believe it is an SE (Special Edition) with full-thickness body, which I think is basswood, not aganthis. I am not positive about this however. Neck is straight with no fretwear, excellent figured rosewood grain pattern, truss rod is working properly, I believe it is Chinese and not Indonesian or Korean. There is no date stamp on neck heel or pocket. I can tell you that of the 20+ Squier strats that I currently have to sell, this one easily plays and sounds the best as a stock instrument, but it can also easily be modded. I have offered to upgrade to American Standard pickup set and U.S. harness for an additional $125 after auction end if winner is interested. I can do any of a number of color swaps on pickguard (black, tortoise, white, parchment, aged white pearl), pickup covers and knobs (black, white, parchment), even swap to different color SE body, or Affinity body if desires a lighter-weight guitar for smaller player. Also can switch to maple neck if preferred. Further options available."
Item Special Note
