Item Description
Before enrolling in classes, each child takes an Assessment Lesson at Chess4Life, this is a private lesson with a certified Chess4Life coach to determine the knowledge level of your student (Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, or King) and what topics they understand in that Level. Upon completion of this assessment, you will know what topics your child shows mastery of, as well as what topics need to be worked on, thus making the time in classes more effective.
These classes follow the Chess4Life curriculum developed by NM Elliott Neff, working from beginner to advanced topics through the six Levels of Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, and finally King Level. In each class, students review previous material, work on new material, and put into practice what they are learning. In addition, coaches utilize DVD lessons, workbooks and activities to help students qualify for each topic. Chess4Life Premium Center Classes are taught Monday-Saturday at the Chess4Life Center in Bellevue, Issaquah and Redmond. A personal achievement chart is maintained for each student to track progress, earning recognition as he/she completes the elements at each level.
You are bidding on a certificate for 1 Assessment Lesson and 1 Month of Premium Center Classes (at 1 class per week = a total of 4 classes).
This certificate may not be combined with any other offer and is valid at the Chess4Life Bellevue, Redmond and Issaquah locations. No cash value.
Expiration date March 29, 2015.
