- Item Number
- 207
- Estimated Value
- 1000 USD
Item Description
You're bidding on four nights bed and breakfast at the home of Jonathan Darby and Malcolm Pacey in Ealing, west London, for two people. We're less than 5 minutes walk from Acton Town tube station - http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/images/general/standard-tube-map.gif itself less than 30 minutes into the heart of the West End.
This is not a professional Bed & Breakfast, but you'll have the use of a well appointed double bedroom, and the run of the house with two living rooms and kitchen dining room. You must be happy with dogs, as Torsten (great dane X) and Lotte (australian cattle dog) live here too.
This is a great base in London. We're 9 stops (30 minutes) from LHR. Acton Town is on the District and Piccadilly lines, which are fast and frequent. We're also within walking distance of the Thames, Kew Gardens and Chiswick House. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby. According to the London second language map - http://now-here-this.timeout.com/2013/10/29/map-of-second-languages-spoken-in-london/ we're on the border of Japanese and Polish, and both cuisines are well represented. This being London, there are countless excellent curry houses.
London needs no introduction. Any time of the year, it is the most amazing place to be.
