Item Description
This is a beautifully framed color print of the Carolina Parrot as drawn by John James Audubon and displayed in the book series “Birds of North America.”
Audubon lived in Henderson, Kentucky during 1810 to 1819 where he inspired the development of the John James Audubon State Park. The Carolina Parakeet which is now extinct was the only native parrot to continental North America north of Mexico.
