Learn to Surf LA's Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica/Venice Surf Camps are a great way for kids to spend the day playing and relaxing while learning how to handle themselves competently in the surf. Professional instructors pride themselves on teaching a top notch technique that will have your child going down the line by the end of the week!
Safety is their top priority. They provide top quality foam surfboards, bodyboards and full length wetsuits. They also provide snacks, drinking water and sunblock and have pop-up canopies to provide shade and protect students from over-exposure to the sun.
Experienced, qualified and friendly staff of local and international surf instructors are CPR and First Aid certified.

He taught about ocean safety, gave attention to everyone equally and truly cared about the people/kids in the class. That means a lot to me, because you could see his core nature was very kind, but he also knew what he was doing and kept my first-time-surfer safe. And he got up his first time!!!”
