A multi-course family-style Mexican feast for ten at Berkeley's Comal restaurant (drinks, tax and gratuity not included) typical menu items include Guajillo-adobo grilled spare ribs, spit-roasted chicken, quesadillas with hen of the woods mushrooms and wild shrimp ceviche w/aquachile plus desserts like flan tradicionale w/candied kumquats and Oaxacan chocolate budin mescal and tequila flights with house-made sangrias or tasty craft cocktails.
COMAL is a gathering place located in Berkeleys bustling Arts District. The restaurant is housed in a single story building (circa 1927) and features a stunning secluded rear patio with a full bar, covered dining area and al fresco beer garden with fire pit.
