Item Description
Bracelet in sterling silver from her Dentelle collection. Approx. 7 1/4" long, clasp designed with lace details; gift boxed.
Dentelle (lace in French) collection is inspired by lace, which Norma saw in Brussels, where she lived, and where lace making is a beautiful, but, sadly, almost dying art. Traditionally, lace was used as a form of jewelry on collars and cuffs. This art was made by women or girls with a full set of bobbins or needles. The items in this collection are made of alternating big and small dentelle pieces.
