Item Description
UMCS parent Raminder Sidhu will host you and up to two guests for a personalized hands-on fermentation workshop in her Oakland home.
You will taste and make three of these four options: kombucha, yogurt, kefir, and/or sauerkraut
Raw materials and jars are provided.
Raminder says "I've been an elementary school teacher for about 10 years. I've been fermenting for about two years, and my regular fermentation projects include yogurt, kombucha, kefir, sauerkraut, and pickled cucumbers. I love the taste of the foods and, more importantly, I see an improvement in my family's health since we started regularly incorporating fermented foods into our diets. This will be my third time hosting a fermenting workshop."

Maximum 3 students (including bidder).
Class must be scheduled on a Friday or a weekend day before August 24, 2014. Blackout dates: April 13 - 23, 2014.
