KPCC Washington DC correspondent, Kitty Felde, has offered this unique experience for one lucky winner.
You and up to two (2) guests will take a private tour with Kitty of five (5) major memorials in Washington DC. at night.
Kitty says the memorials in our nation's capital are most lovely at night. It's the best time to go. No crowds - Just an awe-inducing experience with the warm, knowledgeable, interesting Ms. Felde. She's a wealth of information and so much fun to be around.
You'll visit the following sites:
- Korean War Memorial
- Jefferson Memorial
- Lincoln Memorial
- Vietnam Veterans Memorial
- Martin Luther King Memorial
You'll also drive by the Washington and World War II memorials. After you're tour, you'll stop and get a bite to eat. If you go in the summer, Kitty will likely take you to Cantina Marina, one of her favorite summer spots.
Length of tour: Approximately 2 hours
