Winning bidder will receive one week of Camp Ponkiwanee from Camp Fire USA during sessiion 1,2 or 3.

Camp Ponkiwanee offers youth age 5-11 an outdoor based day camp experience on Maquan Pond in Hanson, MA.

Camp bus leaves daily from Forest Hills T Station.

About Camp Ponkiwanee:

Our caring, experienced, mature, well trained staff will give your children a summer full of fun, friendship, and new experiences. Our programs are designed to meet as many of the developmental needs of our campers as we can. We are here to help children grow, not simply have fun.

Ponkiwanee aims to increase our campers’ ability to make choices, to try new things, to feel like a part of a community, to feel supported by adults and peers, to gain an understanding and openness of others and their differences, to have their parents be more involved in our community, to act responsibly with honesty and integrity, to express themselves, to gain an understanding of their world, and to gain an awareness of their impact on their environment.

At Camp Ponkawiwanee, campers have the opportunity to learn and have fun in a beautiful natural setting of ponds, woodlands, and wildflower meadows while making friends with other children from all the south shore and Boston communities. Your child will become a part of a multi-cultural, inclusive, and diverse community which practices mutual respect. We look forward to welcoming your child into this unique and enriching camp community.

Staff & Safety

At Camp Fire USA we take great pride in our diverse, enthusiastic and caring staff. Before becoming a member of our staff, each individual goes through an in-depth interview process, including background checks. Staff members are carefully selected based on their experience working with children, leadership qualities, and their ability to be positive role-models. All staff members participate in an intensive training program and all are certified in first aid and CPR.

Camp Specialties

Our camp specialties will provide a focus to each session. Each day will be filled with swimming, arts and crafts, games, nature, fishing and will be overseen by our caring well trained staff who make Camp Ponkiwanee such a special place each summer.

You may select session 1, 2 or 3 with your winning bid.

Session 1 June 24-June 28 Outdoor Adventures 1

This week will include many exciting outdoor activities.  Campers will cook on a campfire, learn to canoe, go fishing, build forts and much more!

Session 2 July 1-5  Stars & Stripes (No camp on July 4th)

Let's get Patriotic!! Come to camp ready to celebrate independence day!  We have crafts, games and relay races planned!  Each group will create a float and participate in a camp parade!

Session 3 July 8-12 A Wizard's Life

Learn how to be a wizard with magical potions, solve dilemmas, dress like your favorite wizard, and play wizard games including a version of Quidditch.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. 

CHECKS TO BE MADE OUT TO DEVOTION SCHOOL AND MAILED TO CINDY TUNGATE, DEVOTION SCHOOL SPRING CARNIVALE, 345 HARVARD STREET, BROOKLINE, MA 02446 (OR DROPPED IN HER MAILBOX AT SCHOOL).

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees. We thank you for helping with this and supporting the school.
