Winning bidder will receive a $150 gift certificate toward Classical Art & Science Academy's (CASA Brighton) enrichment program tuition payment during either the SPRING or FALL 2014 semesters. Certificate may not be used towards payment of registration, pick-up, field trip or private music lesson fees.

About CASA Brighton offerings...

Classical Art & Science Academy offers a delectable array of subjects that are not usually taught at primary day schools. A set curriculum of classes is presented each day by our outstanding instructors to students between the ages of 4.5 and 12, with material that is taught at age-appropriate level.

You have a choice of registering for one, two, three, four or five weekdays of CASA's program. Part-time (less than three classes/day) attendance is available for students who do not require pick-up/transportation solutions. Early arrival option is available for students from the Newton, Wellesley and Brookline school districts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, respectively.

While you can be certain that at CASA your children will acquire a vast amount of knowledge, we are also committed to providing them with a comfortable, home-like environment after their time at the day school. Modern media, including various video equipment and computer software are used to make the delivery of new material more accessible and fun for kids: they are encouraged to move around and put up mini-plays in foreign language and theater classes, and history, geography, astronomy and literature hours will take them on tantalizing adventures to real and imaginary worlds.

During the homework/snack hour, students will complete their day school assignments under the watchful eyes and with assistance of our teachers. Parents may choose to prepare clearly labeled weekly snack packages that can be stored in CASA's refrigerators and warmed up in our microwaves.

CASA also offers weekend classes and tutoring, as well as school project preparation. Weekend classes require four students per class for a session to open.

At CASA, we recognize that day school holidays and early release days are not designed to coincide with the parents' busy work schedules. Because of this, we stay open with a modified schedule on many days that are designated as holidays by public school districts. These days are included in the base tuition, up to the amount of hours students would have attended had the day school been open. Additional morning classes and field trips will be available on these days, as well. Please contact us directly for information about our operating hours on official school holidays.

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees.
