This year David LaGraffe, Lights Up Improv instructor, is offering a five-day improvisation immersion day camp for kids 9 to 13 years of age. "I have never had a student who could not improvise," explains David. "My classes are designed to allow each student to discover their own unique response to improvisation, and to have fun doing it!" After twenty years of teaching improvisation, David is more convinced than ever of improv's beneficial impact on creativity and decision-making. Plus, as a bonus, it's really almost too much fun!
This year's Summer Improv Day Camp will be held July 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 -- from 10am to 3pm (with 45 minutes for lunch) -- at the Portland New Church, 302 Stevens Avenue, Portland. Tuition is $225. More information at www.lightsupimprov.com.
Please note that if this particular class doesn't tickle your fancy (or fit your schedule), you are welcome to use the gift certificate for any other Lights Up Improv class through December 2014.
