The Schrader-Sears family is opening up their one bedroom condominium in the stylish and sophisticated Phillips Club located next door to Lincoln Center in the heart of Manhattan for a 3-night Thursday to Sunday stay during CSB’s summer break. Sleeps four lucky guests.

Passionate about writing, fashion and the country’s premier men’s magazine? This is your ultimate day. A CSB upper school (through to college-age) boy will have the opportunity to spend Friday at GQ.

• Escorted by National Magazine Award winner, longtime GQ correspondent and CSB father, Andrew Corsello, your boy will spend a day with GQ’s editors and writers.
• Upon entering the Condé Nast Building in Times Square, your son will be afforded a moment to observe the museum-caliber Voguettes gliding, velvety and mirthless, about the lobby, talking of Michelangelo – but only a moment.
• Breakfast will await in GQ’s editorial conference room, along with the magazine’s editorial, design and fashion personnel, who will be conducting their all-hands-on-deck editorial meeting. Your son will witness firsthand how stories are conceived and assigned, how the “celebrity wrangler” ropes in a cover subject like a Matthew Mcconaughey or a LeBron James, and how graphic artists shape a story.
• There will be a visit to the GQ fashion closet (more of a gymnasium wall-to-walled with gorgeous Italian suits), and then a “late lunch” with Corsello and several other editors and writers.

Visit John Allan’s club for father and son grooming by founder John Allan. John Allan’s Midtown Club is moments away from your condominium. Enjoy the Signature Full Service, play some billiards, enjoy a beverage.

Dine at Benoit, Alain Ducasse’s New York restaurant, and enjoy authentic Parisian bistro fare. Benoit celebrates traditional French cuisine with modern technique, seasonal ingredients, and a lighter hand.
