Item Description
The end green band is Romney wool knit with a blue mohair, both from Orcas Island. the next band is the same green paired with indigo dyed wool from girlwithasword in Iowa. the middle of the scarf is a bird's nest blue wool hand spun with treasures and vintage fabric and hand dyed by Drucilla at Petitbones in North Carolina. Drucilla's hazy blue horizon band fades into the January pale afternoon light of a distant sun shining on purposeful snow: a pale green (romney wool) with turquoise mohair and then ivory mohair, all from Orcas Island, and finally a trilogy of ivory silk and merino wool softened by ivory mohair.
