Item Description
The Orange Room project is inspired by the work of Wassily Kandinsky. Each student worked with his/her family to cut felt circles with the template provided. Once the cutting was complete, Orange Room was then given a lesson on ways of thinking about color: warm/cool, primary/secondary, complementary, and shades. The students then worked to create their own circle composition, choosing five circles of varying sizes and colors, and then layering them with glue from largest to smallest. They were amazed to see how their circle contributed to making a larger piece of art! Orange Room hopes you enjoy their creation!
