Item Description
This mobile is inspired in the story of a Japanese girl named Sadako Sasaki, who despite being directly affected by the atomic bomb, decided to spread a message of peace, by folding more than a thousand paper cranes and sending them all over the country with peaceful messages written on their wings. Her message was so powerful, that promoted an immense movement of people motivated to transform the tragedy, into a national effort to cultivate kindness, tolerance and world peace. In a similar manner, and after learning about the story and it’s context, the Blue Room friends worked on the cranes trying to "draw peace and love on their wings”.
