Item Description
Handcrafted bookcase constructed by several Infrared students, under the oversight of professional finish carpenter, Al Peterson (Emma's Dad). The bookcase measures 3 feet wide by 6 feet tall by 10 inches deep, and is made out of solid poplar wood. The entire class painted the bookcase, using the Astronomy theme studied earlier in the year. Think planets and solar systems. Students contributed some of the most favorite books they enjoyed while growing up, which are sure to interest children from primary to middle school. The project is top notch and is appropriate for families in any of the CMS programs (T/P, ELMS). A special thanks to the Peterson family for helping out with this project.
