2004 Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley from Bighorn Cellars won the silver medal in the World Wine Championships and was awarded 85 pnts (highly recommended). Tasting panel described it having cassis pie, beeswax, and spice aromas. Soft, round full currant, eucalyptus and earth flavors. Baked cranberry and dusty tannin fade.
This premium Napa vintage hails from the valley's most celebrated producers of Cabernet: Bighorn Cellars. Operated by Bill Hill, 2004 was a phenomenal vintage for Napa Cabernet. This wine originated from the Coombsville district, a small appelation in Southern Napa.
