Item Description
Realm Cellars was founded in 2002 by Juan Mercado and Wendell Laidley with a very simple mission - to produce wines of superior quality in small amounts, hand-crafted from Bordeaux varietals culled from some of the most distinctive Napa Valley vineyards. Their shared passion for wine brought them together and, in addition to sparking a close friendship, it prompted the realization of a shared dream to produce their own wine. Thus, Realm Cellars was born. With input from friends, peers, industry partners and family, they embarked on a journey to produce great wines.
Their success has since been firmly established in the Napa Valley and beyond. In this lot, you will have the opportunity to taste/own two of their "big" velvety reds: Realm's The Bard is a Cabernet-based proprietary blend and The Tempest is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petite Verdot.
Warm thanks to owner Juan Mercado for this very generous donation to our auction. We hear that in addition to your talent for producing exceptional wine, you are also an esteemed member of the coolest bocce team in the Valley. Nice.
